Такими средствами могут стать холерные бактериофаги.</p><p>Цель работы – изучение безопасности смеси холерных бактериофагов на модели экспериментальных животных.</p><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. В работе использовали композицию на основе холерных фагов Rostov‑М3, Rostov-13, ФБ1. Проведена оценка токсичности препарата, цитотоксического и апоптогенного влияния на экспериментальных животных.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты и обсуждение</title><p>Результаты и обсуждение. Показано, что однократное введение максимальной определенной дозы смеси фагов не вызывает негативного воздействия на организм лабораторных животных. Сравнение с контролем не показало статистически достоверных отличий гистологической картины в органах опытных животных после длительного введения препарата. Также после однократного и повторного семидневного приема данные фаги не вызывают апоптоза и некроза иммунокомпетентных клеток экспериментальных животных. Результаты данных исследований свидетельствуют о безопасности 3-компонентной фаговой композиции и в перспективе могут быть использованы для дальнейшей разработки новых биопрепаратов на основе холерных бактериофагов.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The spread of Vibrio cholerae strains with multiple antibiotic resistance necessitates the search for alternatives to antibiotics. Cholera bacteriophages can become such means.</p><p>The aim of the work was to study the safety of a mixture of cholera bacteriophages using an experimental animal model.</p><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. We used a composition based on cholera phages Rostov-M3, Rostov-13, FB1. The toxicity of the drug, cytotoxic and apoptogenic effects in experimental animals were assessed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results and discussion</title><p>Results and discussion. It has been shown that a single administration of the maximum defined dose of the mixture of phages does not cause negative effects on the body of laboratory animals. Comparison with the control group has not revealed statistically significant differences in the histological picture in the organs of the experimental animals after long-term administration of the drug. Also, after a single and repeated seven-day administration, these phages do not cause apoptosis and necrosis of immune competent cells in experimental animals.
