В обзоре рассмотрены случаи заболевания человека, вызванные новым коронавирусом (NCoV), возможные естественные резервуары возбудителя, механизмы передачи инфекции, некоторые характеристики этиологического агента заболевания, методы диагностики и идентификации возбудителя, полная последовательность генома и связь NCoV с известными коронавирусами.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Coronaviruses are enveloped viruses with a single-strand “+” RNA, its genome size varying from 25 to 32 thousands of nucleotides. They cause respiratory and intestinal diseases in animals and humans.
