Abstract
Implementation of G8 Summit resolutions (2006) in the sphere of infectious diseases control and completing of modernization of the Russian specialized anti-epidemic teams (SAET) of Rospotrebnazor anti-plague institutes, including their usage abroad, assume identification of the unified object of their purposeful activity. Emergency situation in the sphere of population sanitary and epidemiologic welfare was specified within the normative documents as the unified object of epidemiologic surveillance, sanitary protection, prevention and liquidation of emergency epidemic situations, biosafety provision in the course of International Health Regulations (2005) implementation in the territory of the Russian Federation. This definition is suggested as the object of SAET activity.

Abstract
Presented are the results of epizootiological and epidemiological monitoring of Crimean hemorrhagic fever (CHF) in the territory of the Republic of Ingushetia. 6 cases of CHF were registered and confirmed during 5 years (2004-2008), 3 (50 %) of them being fatal. 5 species of ixodic ticks were shown to be infected with Crimean hemorrhagic fever virus of which 67,7 % were ticks Boophilus annulatus. CHF virus antigen and specific antibodies were detected in great and small cattle. Specific antibodies in titres 1:800 - 1:1600 were found in blood serum of donors. Data received confirmed the presence of CHF natural focus in the territory of the Republic of Ingushetia.

Abstract
Choosing the professionally important qualities (PIQ) is an essential moment of personnel selection and assessment of reliability of their professional activity. The use of methods of analytical job specification and expert estimations allowed to define the list of PIQs of personnel admitted to work with PBA of I-II groups.

Abstract
Presented is propagator equipped with environmental protection system against fermentation releases. The unit supplied with vacuum pump, airproof pipeline valves and a series of sequentially connected tanks with disinfectant solutions is placed in a safety box. Shown are the experimental data on comparative evaluation of inactivation properties of authorized decontamination materials as for bacterial aerosols at submerged cultivation of germs.

Abstract
Lysozyme is shown to be one of the factors of flea`s natural non-specific resistence. Lysozyme is detected in various species of rodents fleas. Besides, some plague agent strains are shown to possess anti-lysozyme activity.

Abstract
Presented are the results of the field trial of the mobile laboratory in different landscape and climatic zones and seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter). Determined are performance characteristics of the mobile module while carrying out indication of bacterial and viral nature germs and express-diagnostics of dangerous infectious diseases in field conditions. Communication I contains data on approbation of the mobile laboratory in spring-summer period.

Abstract
Sanitary and Epidemiologic Regulations Sanitary Protection of the Russian Federation Territory SR 3.4.2318-08 were developed with view of observing of their continuity as regards Sanitary and Epidemiologic Regulations Sanitary Protection of the Russian Federation Territory (edited in 2003) and in consideration for the provisions of the Russian legislation. Presented in the article are provisions of the Russian Federation laws and decrees of the Government which served as the basis for several items of the Issues I, II, III, and IV.

Abstract
The review presents literature data on tularemia agent antigenic components, their biochemical structure and immune properties. Though active studies are carried out to analyze separate Francisella tularensis antigenic components and to elucidate their role in immunoprophylaxis and diagnostics of this infection, the cause of tularemia agent high pathogenicity is not yet determined. Nor is decided the problem of the development of safe subunit vaccine and high-specific methods of agent express-indication, according to scientific evidence.

Abstract
Gene inv encoding one of the important pathogenicity factors of pseudotuberculosis agent was analyzed as regards its structure and function in plague microbe of the main and non-main subspecies and pseudotuberculosis microbe. The structure of gene inv was shown to be affected by introduction of insertion sequence IS1541 in all studied Yersinia pestis strains of non-main and main subspecies. This evidences that the loss of functional activity of this gene took place at initial stage of plague agent evolution.

Abstract
Among the leading pathogenesis factors of disorders of regional blood flow and microcirculation in plague intoxication induced by Y. pestis lipopolysaccharide (LPS) are decreases of blood viscosity at various shift rates, indices of erythrocyte deformation and aggregation that correlate with severity of clinical manifestation. Efferent part of LPS cytopathogenic effects of plague microbe is enhancement of free-radical oxidation and formation of anti-oxidative system deficiency.

Abstract
Investigated was dynamics of germicidal activity factors (cationic proteins and myeloperoxidase) in polymorphonuclear leucocytes (PMNL) of peripheral blood of white mice immunized against plague and in the course of plague infection in different modifications of infectious process. Plague resistance in white mice was shown to correlate with PMNL protective function, the latter being provided mainly by myeloperoxidase system supported by cationic proteins system. The alteration of activity level of myeloperoxidase and cationic proteins in PMNL may be considered as indirect index of white mice plague resistance.

Abstract
Proposed was the immunochromatographic express-test for legionellosis agent detection in water environment. The method is high-sensitive and specific allowing to detect only first serogroup of legionellosis agent. That is of high importance for identification of isolated cultures of legionella and monitoring of Legionella pneumophila presence in environment objects.

Abstract
Anaphylactogenic properties of heterologous anti-rabies immunoglobulin and its F(ab')2-fragments were tested in vivo. It was shown that F(ab')2-fragments of heterologous anti-rabies immunoglobulin did not possess anaphylactogenic properties.

Abstract
Proposed is the method for simultaneous isolation and purification of three cholera vibrio key pathogenicity factors (cholera toxin, toxin-co-regulated adhesion pili, O1 antigen Ogawa or Inaba), which are main protective antigens, from previously constructed recombinant Vibrio cholerae strains 2415 Inaba and KM 206 Ogawa. Immunologic activity of the preparations was confirmed using polyclonal high-active specific antisera. Purified antigens can be used for creation and improvement of prophylactic and diagnostic preparations.
