Laboratory Control of the Drinking Water Quality in the Territory of the Jewish Autonomous Region in View of the Flooding in the Far East

Abstract
Represented is the short characteristic of natural waterways and temporal distribution of atmospheric precipitations in the Jewish autonomous region. Given are the data on the organization and carrying out of monitoring as regards centralized and non-centralized water supply sources and other socially significant water objects in the Jewish Autonomous Region under the conditions of flooding and during the post-flooding period in 2013. Enforced has been control over sanitation of the unorganized water supply sources located in countryside, provision with disinfectant agents along with information distribution regarding essential anti-epidemic measures that are to be taken. Outlined is the total number of the drinking water samples, investigated at the time of a high water period, wherein reasonably high rates of inconsistent indexes has been detected. Thus, the scope of conducted preventive and anti-epidemic actions have made it possible to keep the epidemiological situation in the Jewish Autonomous Region stable.
