Сидерофоры Bacillus anthracis

Аннотация

Железо необходимо для роста и размножения бактерий. Один из способов приобретения железа Bacillus anthracis состоит в использовании высокоаффинных хелатирующих агентов ионов железа - сидерофоров бациллибактина и петробактина, извлекающих железо из трансферрина и ферритина клеток хозяина. Функции бациллибактина и петробактина реализуются на разных стадиях роста B. anthracis in vivo , при этом синтез петробактина необходим также и для проявления вирулентности микроба. Знание путей биосинтеза сидерофоров способствует разработке блокирующих эти пути новых терапевтических средств против сибирской язвы. В обзоре приведены сведения о структуре, генетике, функциях сидерофоров сибиреязвенного микроба.
